One of the most aesthetically pleasing instagrams known as Accidentally Wes Anderson [AWA] released their first book in October 2020. The basis of the instagram and book are images that appear as if they were plucked from a Wes Anderson film, but are in fact, real places. Wally and Amanda Koval, the founders of Accidentally Wes Anderson tell the stories of each of these unique locations, bringing their histories to life on each page and post.
To bring spontaneity back to the holiday season in New York City during the pandemic, we wanted to create The Not So Secret, Secret Box Office. It became not only a space to purchase fun gifts for the holidays, but also a safe experience for people to enjoy a moment of delight.
Outside we created two peep windows with secret scenes for people to enjoy who didn't feel comfortable going inside. For those who did choose to go inside, they had fun discovering a secret photo booth.
